Storage Benches Who doesn't need a little extra storage in a convenient place? Our Redwood storage benches are doubly functional—and singularly attractive. Some customers even use their bench as a coffee table or toy box. You can choose the degree of ventilation you would like for your bench, and for our standard model you can choose between single-flap and double-flap doors.

Alan's Storage Benches The Alan's bench was a complete surprise. In 2005, Alan called in to order some lumber. He had purchased from us before and wanted to make a special bench. He loved our extra thick high quality Redwood. We sent a 150 lbs package. About 1 1/2 years later we received 2 photos in an email. Wow. We emailed right away asking if we could steal the design. He said, "how much?" We said, "we'll name the baby after you." He graciously accepted our offer and Alan's bench was born. Here we've transformed the original design into a stylish storage bench.

Your furniture can be finished in one of five ways (select during checkout):
- Standard Semi-Transparent Sealant
If you want to keep the natural redwood tones— see images above. (Young-Growth will be stained to appear like Mature-Growth; click here for more information.) - Unfinished
If you prefer your finish to fade to a "weathered look" quickly, or want to apply a custom stain. - Off-White Oil-Based Primer
If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.) - Gray Oil-Based Primer
If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.) - Wax Finish
