Our "Forever" furniture is unique in the marketplace. Because we mill our own wood, the boards on our picnic tables are cut a full two inches by six inches thick. Most outdoor tables and benches are usually one inch or one-and-a-half inches thick. Today's standard two-by-six is actually only one-and-a-half inches thick and five-and-one-quarter inches wide. Our true two-by-six-inch board has 52% more wood. The extra thickness and girth significantly increases the feel, appearance, sturdiness, and durability of the furniture. For example, our eight-foot table with attached benches weighs over 200 pounds. The five-foot round table with attached benches weighs over 300 pounds. All Forever Redwood tables are bolted together. For added durability we use only stainless steel bolts and screws on all of our furniture. No nails or glue is used in any of our furniture. For instance, our standard Picnic Tables come with 36-inch wide tabletops. But you can order yours with a narrower 30-inch tabletop. If you frequently serve meals using large platters or bowls, your guests might appreciate a little additional space for their plates, so you can order a 42-inch or a 48-inch tabletop— even up to 54" and 60" on the tables five feet and longer. From four to fourteen feet long, there's a picnic table that's just right for your needs.

The Heritage sets have identical dimensions, weight and design details to our Forever Picnic table sets, with only one difference: The Heritage table and bench tops are built with twelve-inch wide boards while the Forever sets use six-inch wide boards. Twelve-inch wide furniture grade lumber (vertical grain lumber, clear or nearly clear of knots) is now rare and costly due to poor forestry practices worldwide. Old-Growth Again is the only company still making these exquisite tables. They are only available in our salvaged Old-Growth Redwood (30-year decay warranty).

The benches come attached as shown here or separate. With separate benches, you also have the choice of Round or Arc style benches. For an idea of capacity, our 4-Foot Round Picnic Table will comfortably accomodate 8 adults, while our 5-Foot Round Picnic Table accomodates 12 adults.

Options to Customize Your Picnic Tables:
L-R: Parquet, Old Country Tabletops You can also choose our Old Country Tabletop option. The Old Country design is an old European design that can be used either outdoors or indoors. For indoors, you can choose a seamless tabletop design with no spacing between the boards. For year round outdoor applications, please choose our standard tabletop design (1/16" spacing between the boards) to let the boards move with the changing temperature and moisture. Another custom option you may choose, at no additional charge, is to have the corners of both your table and benches rounded (as shown in the photo below, on the right). The photos below show an Eight-Foot Picnic Table on the left with squared corners, and our Kid's Picnic Tables on the right with rounded corners. Just choose which option you would like during checkout.
