Four-Foot Long Heavy Duty Vertical Slat Planter Boxes with Casters

48"L X 24"W X 24"H These planter boxes have had super strong locking casters added. Casters are so strong they are rated to handle 350 pounds each, and they lock in place! Casters can be added to almost any planter box for added mobility. Most customers choose the "no legs" option like in the photos and they are installed on the corners. But, if you prefer the legs with your planter, just choose the "I want legs on mine" option in your shopping cart and we'll install the casters recessed in a couple inches from the corner legs. We can add even stronger casters to larger planter boxes if you require. Just let us know. You can easily create an instant hedge as shown above! Planters are available in any size or style. Please contact us if you want a size that you don't see.
Also, you can decide whether your planter box will have feet or sit flat on the ground at no additional charge. We can build any planter box with legs that elevate it 1 3/4" off the ground. On the smaller planter boxes you will be able to choose whether you want the slats to be vertical or horizontal at no additional charge. See photos at left (L-R: Vertical, Horizontal).

We can custom build and ship Planter Boxes in any dimensions up to 14-Feet long anywhere in the U.S. Standard shipping rates apply. In California we deliver planter boxes up to 20-Feet long. (If you live outside California and want a planter over 14-feet long, please contact us for a quote.) Most packages ship via UPS. Your furniture can be finished in one of five ways (select during checkout):
- Standard Semi-Transparent Sealant
If you want to keep the natural redwood tones— see images above. (Young-Growth will be stained to appear like Mature-Growth; click here for more information.)
- Unfinished
If you prefer your finish to fade to a "weathered look" quickly, or want to apply a custom stain.
- Off-White Oil-Based Primer
If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.)
- Gray Oil-Based Primer
If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.)
- Wax Finish
If you plan to use your furniture indoors and would like to keep it looking great without sealant or paint.

Want to use our planters indoors with a wax finish? If you plan to use your planter indoors and wish to have a wax finish applied (no sealant or primer), we will only apply the wax to the outside of the box, not to the areas that will hold soil.
 Growing Veggies? Any planter can be ordered without interior treatment - just write us a note as you're checking out, and we will not use our oil-based sealant inside the box. We will seal the box on the outside only. The planter box will not decay because it is high quality redwood.
